Zuma Snuggles Up to His Top-Earning Mom Gwen

Back from vacation, Gwen Stefani had baby Zuma all swaddled up and sleeping on her shoulder out around LA yesterday. The family star, Kingston skipped this adventure with his little brother, but in a few years they will be partners in crime. Gavin and Gwen just scored the number seven spot on the top-earning power couples list, so Kingston and Zuma have a lot to look up to in their hard working parents.

Is Britney Spears This Year’s Surprise at the AMAs?

Britney said her life may be like Groundhog Day, and things are sad and uneventful, but at least she's turned things around and is healthy again — well, minus the calorie-packed coffee drink addiction. Britney deserves a guilty pleasure and her longtime (on and off) manager Larry Rudolph said she's ready for this comeback. He also took credit for brainstorming the idea of the upcoming MTV documentary where she can "say what she needs to say on her terms." Until that show airs on Nov. 30, we might get to watch Brit this weekend at the AMAs. She is not scheduled to be there according to her record label, but apparently there are big surprises in store that even host Jimmy Kimmel doesn't know about.

Katie Is a Model Mom in More Ways Than One

Katie Holmes swooped Suri in her arms and kissed her head on the way home after a long day out. These days Katie usually exudes a level of glamour, but this time even more so with her dramatic makeup. Earlier this week there were rumors that Katie will be the face of Miu Miu for Spring 2009 and here she is all dolled up for what seems like a photo shoot yesterday. Even Suri dressed up in her favorite red shoes to accompany Katie to work — even at two she's already an all-star in front of cameras so maybe someday she'll be following in mom's footsteps.

Heidi and Spencer Keep Their Options Mobile

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt took a moment out of their busy posing schedule to actually go through airport security at LAX earlier this week on their way out of town. Heidi looked low key and comfy despite her heels — get her look here — while Spencer was scruffy as ever. We already learned that this duo isn't leaving TV anytime soon, but with the way they're already expanding their range it might be best not to get too tired of their antics at all.

Britney Talks About Her Dark Period and Her Exes

We've been seeing lots of tidbits from Britney Spears's documentary, and even more quotes have been leaked following today's special screening. While Britney's life has come a long way in the past couple of years, she still has a lot to say about about her past and the person she once was. Here are highlights:

  • On Justin and Kevin: "With Justin, he was a part of the magnitude of what I had become. So when he was gone I was like, What am I supposed to do with myself? I was devastated [by the breakup] but I handled it a lot better than the [split] with Kevin . . . He started to do an album for himself and he started to do things for himself, and I just never saw him anymore . . . When it ended I felt so alone. I didn't really wanna think about the reality of it. I never faced it . . . I just ran."
  • In the aftermath of her 2007 meltdown: "My trust has really been battered . . . Sometimes it can get kinda lonely . . . I had totally lost my way. I lost focus. I lost myself. I let certain people into my life that were just bad people . . . because I was lonely . . .I really paid the consequences for that. Big time . . . What the hell was I thinking?"
  • On life these days: "Do I know my life is weird? It's all I've ever known. I don't see it as being weird . . . I'm kind of stuck in this place and I'm like, How do you deal? I just cope with it every day....It's better not to feel anything at all and have hope than to feel the other way . . . It's bad. I'm sad." She breaks down into tears. Later, she complains that her life is too in control these days: "It's like Groundhog Day every day. It's really boring . . . Normal is really different for everybody . . . In my situation, I try to make it as normal as possible for me . . . It could be a lot worse. There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do . . . I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I'm not anymore."

It's enlightening to hear a sincere voice coming straight from the source, and we're only more excited to see the full documentary when it airs next week.

Mary-Kate, Charlize, and Lindsay Will Cross an Ocean to Party

Many an A-lister made the trek to Dubai today to celebrate the grand opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson traveled from London to join Sam's mother Ann Dexter-Jones, while Mischa Barton will show up anywhere there's a red carpet. The eclectic crew, which included Mary-Kate Olsen all draped in white, Gerard Butler, Charlize Theron, and Stuart Townsend, was treated to dinner and an elaborate performance from Kylie Minogue. Only a truly lavish affair would attract so many stars to such a distant place, and it seems like opulent Dubai isn't feeling too pinched by the global credit crisis.
