Thursday night Jessica Simpson continued on tour stopping off in Salt Lake City wearing her signature William Rast daisy dukes. She performed for 45 minutes as the opening act for Rascal Flatts, and once again the news of the show is all about Jessica’s weight, boyfriend and lyric mishaps. Apparently, the singer admittedly laughed off fumbling the words to “Come on Over.” She also spoke about her recent confidence to keep getting on stage and of course a shout-out to Tony. Jess said, “I’m so lucky to be here. . . The thing that makes us lucky is being in love…I did find that unexpected kind of love.” Jessica remains positive and after a few weeks of unnecessary attention, the beautiful singer proves she’s still hot.

After spending last weekend celebrating at the Oscars afterparties, Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt switched gears on Thursday night to attend a bash for the small screen. They joined a few of his Mad Men costars at an event to kick off a new season of his fellow AMC drama Breaking Bad. Jon’s show won’t be back until later this year, but it’s fun to see him popping up in other places as we wait for his return to TV as Don Draper.

After Ben Stiller’s hilarious impersonation of Joaquin Phoenix at the Oscars last weekend, the debate about Joaquin’s rap career is continuing to heat up. Sources close to Joaquin claim that the whole thing is part of a project he’s working on about the importance of appearances in Hollywood and that he’s happy that Ben and other actors are giving him attention. On the other hand, many are speculating that Joaquin is mentally ill, though his rep has deemed those rumors to be inappropriate. Paris Hilton strutted her stuff in a polka dot dress and fishnet stockings at a promotional event for her Honey Bunch clothing line in Tokyo yesterday. Paris has been running around Japan with her new boy Doug Reinhardt the past few days, but on Monday she’ll be back stateside. She’s helping Craig Ferguson host CBS’s primetime lineup and is set to appear on his Late Late Night as she continues to plug all of her latest projects.

Charlize Theron took a shopping trip to Sunset Plaza yesterday before taking her dogs for a walk on the beach today. The actress caught up with a few Oscar nominees last weekend, but decided to skip out on all the actual festivities on Sunday. She may be keeping a low profile for now, but with lots of upcoming projects with stars that range from Nicole Kidman to Tom Cruise, we have a feeling that Charlize’s Oscar nights are far from over.

RDJ grinned from the front row, still looking as sexy and clean shaven as he did at the Oscars. Adam Levine and John Stamos were also in the crowd while Denzel Washington munched on a bucket of popcorn. The celebrity star power proved to be good luck for the loved basketball team, as the Lakers picked up their sixth straight win.
