Fergie took the stage at The Borgata Hotel Saturday night in Atlantic City and then played host at mur.mur for an after party. She flashed a huge smile as she walked the red carpet solo, and she also wasn’t shy about showing off her new bling ring while performing. However, while we’ve been hoping to get some juicy details on Fergie’s engagement, it sounds like Fergie may never let the secret out. She said, “I’m not giving any details. I think [the fine points] are sacred. It’s just important to us. [But] it’s hard for me because I have a big mouth.”

Britney Spears kept herself all covered up (and her “hair” looking surprisingly decent) out shopping for some music at Virgin Records on Friday night in LA. She’s been the most talked about celebrity of 2007 (winning in a landslide), but thankfully hasn’t been making any big stories to close out the year with that deposition just around the corner. While I’m thinking she’ll probably show up at a party or two tonight, hopefully, she won’t be the story tomorrow morning. Who knows, there’s always a chance that Britney’s resolution for 2008 is to slow things down a bit? After the nonstop headline-fest that was her 2007…well, at least wishful thinking never hurts.

Lindsay Lohan was honored this weekend at the 12th Annual Capri Hollywood International Film Festival for her amazing work in film. Clearly they missed out on all the other shocking LL headlines and amazing photos as evidence which most of us were following. Maybe this honor will help LL continue her good girl stride and have her concentrate more on those great performances we remember like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. Also honored at the event was Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere. We’re not really sure what kind of criteria these folks are using to choose their honorees, but young blonde Hollywood starlets were on the top of their list this year.

Gisele Bundchen looked every bit the hot rock star girlfriend walking through NYC yesterday, but at night she was the cheerleader. She was at Meadowlands in NJ to watch her boyfriend Tom Brady lead the Patriots to their 16-0 perfect season (yay! Go Pats!) beating the NY Giants. While Gisele and Tom have gotten a fair amount of criticism, at least she doesn’t have to deal with the Jessica Simpson treatment. Hopefully after last night’s nail biter, she and Tom let loose in NYC with the rest of the team celebrating the Pats’ landmark season before getting to work for the playoffs.
