The Darjeeling Limited opened the New York Film Festival on Friday, in typical Wes Anderson-quirky style. Not only did he premiere his back story short film starring Natalie Portman at the Apple Store on Tuesday, but the night before the big screening most of the cast and some friends gathered to unveil the special LV luggage that Marc Jacobs designed specially for the movie — loving the jungle animals! I'm sure Owen was missed by the rest of the Wes Anderson gang on the red carpet. Any event with Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston is awesome, it's just a rule, even if Mr. Murray is looking a little, uh, weathered these days. Meanwhile, way to sass it up Molly Shannon! I know you don't all agree, but come on, Adrien Brody looks kinda hot at these events, right? Right?

SJP went briefly went brunette but switched back to blonde while still shooting scenes for SatC this week. The girls worked hard one special day to shoot scenes at Christie's auction house. The location was only available for one day so the cast had to work extra hard to make sure they got what they needed. It turned into a 19 hour work day but that didn't seem to upset any of the extras who revealed, "Sarah Jessica Parker worked so hard and was just wonderful to everyone involved." It's good to know everyone is dedicated to making the movie a success, even if it means spending a lot of time in painful stilettos.

Kiefer Sutherland, star of the hit television series “24″, faces a possible prison term after he was charged on Friday with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above.

The arrest comes after Sutherland was stopped by LAPD at 1:35am Tuesday morning for making an illegal U-turn, at which time he also failed a sobriety test. He had attended a party earlier that night celebrating the launch of the Fox fall season.

In addition to the two DUI counts, the city attorney is seeking to have Sutherland’s probation revoked from a 2004 drunk driving conviction.

“We have charged Mr. Sutherland with a second DUI offense within 10 years, which we believe also constitutes a violation of the terms of his probation from his 2004 conviction,” said Nick Velasquez, a spokesman for the City Attorney’s Office.

“Since he is still on probation from this 2004 DUI, we have also requested that the court revoke his probation and set a probation-violation hearing.”

If convicted on both charges, Sutherland could face up to a total of a year and a half in jail and be forced to pay a $1000 fine.

Beyoncé apparently isn't ready to restrain her jelly. Not even for the sake of her fans. The Grammy winner has canceled what was due to be her first concert in Malaysia next month, in the wake of protests over her booty-baring stage antics and increased pressure to conform to the country's hard-line Muslim regime's ultrastrict dress codes for female performers. Knowles' International Creative Management agents, however, said the scuttled show was "due to a scheduling conflict" and nothing more. "It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of the Beyoncé Experience. It was to mark the very first time the performer would bring her show to Malaysia." Angelina may not have ended her contract with St. John just yet, but she's already wearing more color, showing off a red sweater dropping Maddox off at school on Friday. She, Brad and their aviators have figured how to sneak Mad in the back door at school, which will hopefully keep the school officials more happy with the frenzy surrounding the super famous family. This week has been go go go for Angelina and Brad, so here's to the weekend bringing a little bit of peace and quiet (and fun with Shi's new FAO goodies) for the Jolie-Pitts.
