Sarah Jessica Parker was looking every bit the slightly older but just as stylish Carrie Bradshaw on her way to a Memorial Day party this weekend. Yeah, I’m sure that comparison never gets old for her. Still, somehow only she could make those hot yellow shoes work with that bright pink bag. Rumors of a Sex and the City movie are still swirling, but who knows whether that will ever actually pan out. As for her other venture, Bitten, we’ll see how that goes when it hits stores next week. Judging by how well celebrity lines are selling these days, I’m sure SJP’s will be every Bit (ha) the success.

Beyonce continues her world tour in Madrid where she managed to get a little shopping done before the show. In the June issue of France’s Questions de femmes magazine, when asked if she wants kids she says, “Yes, in 10 years! For the moment, there are still so many things I need to accomplish.” It seems she doesn’t have much time for herself these days to even do the things she likes! Here’s more:

• On her free time:
  “I used to do some painting but I don’t have time anymore – I have to start again,” she says. “I like to watch the Discovery Channel and from time to time DVDs. It depends on how I feel.”
• On her look:
  “I actually don’t like wearing make-up, I’d rather be natural. My hair is natural and when I go out I don’t need to spend hours deciding what I will wear or which make-up to put on. I know exactly what I want.”

This is from the same woman who has her stylists look her over every time she leaves the house before a big event. We rarely see the natural Bey but we’d welcome it.

Apart from one short excursion out of the center, Lindsay has been quietly hanging out at Promises since she checked herself in Monday afternoon. Luckily, she doesn’t have to tell us how it’s going because everyone else is happy to do the job for her. Her friend told People, “She’s happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be okay. I’ve been in touch with her and she likes it.” I’m not sure that rehab is really meant to be liked, but okay.

Her lovely father felt the need to open up to E! about his daughter’s supposed abuse of OxyContin. Thanks, dad! As he told the network, “I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care. And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That’s a very important step.”

As for that movie career, the producers of her upcoming movie Poor Things, Shirley MacLaine and Rob Hickman, say they will rearrange the shooting schedule to accommodate Linds. Though other industry insiders are saying that all this controversy will end up costing Lindsay roles. Wouldn’t be surprised.

And in the final bit of Lohan news, Lindsay’s lawyer (who had an oddly involved role in all this — what happened to Zelnick?) has said that her 21st B-Day party in Vegas will go on! Vodka sponsor or not! Sounds…healthy.

All the Entourage boys were on hand to support Adrian Grenier as he premiered his very personal new film, Shot in the Dark, last night in LA. The movie chronicles his search for his estranged father and was shot well before he started working on his HBO hit. Adrian was pretty hush hush about the project back in February and we don’t blame him. Apparently, Adrian’s mother was part of a free love advocating commune when he was conceived so there were a few potential father candidates involved in his search. Believe it or not, the film supposedly has its share of laughs, too. Hopefully making this movie helped Adrian find all the answers he was looking for.

It’s not often we get to hear from Hayden Christensen. Besides his recent relationship with Rachel Bilson, he seems to be laying low. That might have something to do with the fact that he spends a lot of his time in London and when he’s in LA he tries to stay under the radar. Hayden recently told enRoute magazine that he’s definitely trying to keep it real after being boosted to fame from the Star Wars films and if that means buying a farm and moving to Canada, so be it. Here’s more:

• On his newest purchase:
  “I recently acquired a farm north of Toronto,” Christensen says, “and I just bought a big excavator and a dump truck and a bobcat – construction toys. I plan to start building soon. I can’t wait to go out there and move dirt and get my hands dirty. It’s currently a hay farm, but I want it to be a working farm. I want to fill the barn with livestock. First pigs, then cattle and horses.”
• On keeping a low profile:
  “Lifestyle has a lot to do with how often you end up in the tabloids,” he says. “Daniel Day-Lewis went to Italy and became a cobbler. I went out and bought construction equipment.”

Luckily for us, he has three films in the can so even if he’s milking cows in Canada we’ll still be able to get to see more of Hayden here in the states. As for his time with Rachel, the two were spotted in Toronto shopping for home furnishings this week. There’s nothing like a woman’s touch to make his new farm a home!

Zooey Deschanel is pretty much the coolest ever, as further evidenced by her completely adorable June Jane Magazine cover. I love all she does and I am super hopeful that she and Mary-Kate will at least share one scene (that will include spirit animals in some capacity?) on the best show ever, Weeds this season. Since that’s not nearly enough Zooey, it was awesome to hear that she just signed on to co-star with Mark Wahlberg in M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie The Happening. Though I don’t love M. Night’s recent movies, I can’t wait to see these two together. As for the Jane article, as usual Zooey is awesome:

“I’m scared for young women, because we’re not necessarily progressing. People think it’s good to use sex as power. They think that’s new. Flaunting your body, going around half-naked and being sexy to get your way—it’s so missing the point,” she says. “We’re not even talking about the fact that women still don’t have a strong enough role in running the country.”
